RC Helicopter - Walkera DragonFly Support Info.

NEW Packing Color Box for DragonFly

OLD Packing Color Box for DragonFly

Transmitter Explaination:
- Control A and Control B, each can move in 4 directions: up, down, left right. You use these 2 controls to fly the helicopter.
- Trim Switches (marked by yellow color box) - use to trim the control A and B >> Adjust the controls to make the helicopter fly better.

It is very import for you to know which control is THROTTLE CONTROL!!!!
What is throttle?
>> The throttle control is the one use to give power to the main motor and lift up the helicopter. As we stated in above, the throttle control can be on the left hand side or right hand side depend on which mode of transmitter you have.

How do you check what control is THROTTLE.
>> To check which control is throttle, you can move Control A and B (as shown above) down to very bottom, if the control will not return back to the center point, then it is the THROTTLE CONTROL.
Example: Control A is move to the bottom in the above image and it will not return to the center point like Control B. So Control A is THROTTLE control.

Transmitter: There are 2 kind of transmitter for the Walkera DragonFly. Mode 1 with right hand throttle and Mode 2 with left hand throttle.

This is the MODE 2 Transmitter with THROTTLE control on the left hand side of the transmitter.
This is the MODE 1 Transmitter with THROTTLE control on the right hand side of the transmitter.

IMPORTANT TIP FOR WALKERA DRAGONFLY Helicopter:
Before you connect the battery to the helicopter, you must first make sure you have lowered the throttle control to the very bottom and the trim switch beside the throttle control to the very bottom too, before you connect the battery to the helicopter. If you do not do that, the helicopter may NOT operate correctly.

Also, the transmitter MUST "TURNED ON" before you connect the battery to the helicopter. And never turn off the transmitter before you disconnect the battery from the helicopter.

Control Explaination:

With Mode 2 Transmitter (Throttle on the left like the above picture).
1. Move the Control A up and down is THROTTLE Control: Control the heli go up or down.
2. Move the Control A left and right is RUDDER control: Control the tail of the heli go left or right
3. Move the Control B up and down is the Elevator control: Control heli go forward or backward
4. Move the control B left and right is Aileron control: control the heli go left or right

With Mode 1 Transmitter (Throttle on the right like the above picture).
1. Move the Control A up and down is the Elevator control: Control heli go forward or backward
2. Move the Control A left and right is RUDDER control: Control the tail of the heli go left or right
3. Move the Control B up and down is the THROTTLE Control: Control the heli go up or down.
